Founded in early 1992 by Inger McRae and her late husband, Robert McRae, U.S. Title is Gainesville’s oldest locally owned and operated title insurance agency. From the very beginning, we have remained independently owned, providing trusted expertise and personalized service to our clients. MEET THE President, Owner

Inger McRae

With nearly 40 years in the real estate industry, Inger began her career as a Realtor in Jacksonville, Florida, in the late 1970s. In 1986, she transitioned into the title industry, and by 1992, she and Robert relocated to Gainesville to open U.S. Title. Since then, Inger has been leading the company while staying deeply involved in the local community.

Sherra Gurman

As the daughter of U.S. Title’s founders, Sherra was immersed in the title industry from a young age. Some of her earliest and fondest memories include traveling to out-of-county courthouses with her father to conduct title searches. In 2013, she returned to the family business and became a Licensed Title Agent in 2016.
